Take 176 east to N Lake Street (45). Take a left on N Lake Street to go north. Take a right on W Winchester Rd and then the very first left onto American Way. Encompass is 1201 on the left-hand side.
About Us
Encompass Health is a new 60-bed, state of the art inpatient rehabilitation institute in Lake County. We provide at least 3 hours of physical, occupational and speech therapy a minimum of 5 days per week in order to help patients return to their prior level of function. At Encompass, we have an interdisciplinary team which includes doctors, rehab certified nurses, on-site pharmacists, case management and therapists to help patients achieve their goals. Special features of our facility include on-site dialysis, an expansive therapy gym with advanced technologies, an outdoor therapy courtyard, and all private rooms/bathrooms.
Encompass Health values the relationships with the surrounding communities and sponsors events at local senior centers, assisted/independent living facilities, park districts, and local senior 55+ communities. In addition, we provide educational seminar/in-services to further educate the community to help our seniors age in place safely.
