7th Annual Unplug Illinois Day at Cook Park! 600 N. Main Street, Wauconda IL. On July 12, people throughout Illinois are encouraged to ditch their electronic devices and "unplug" to enjoy everything that their local park, recreation, and conservation agencies have to offer.

This event is FREE and everyone is welcome!

FLYING 4 KIDS - Keep your eyes on the skies! Wauconda Park District is hosting a fun, family-oriented kite fly as part of the Illinois Association of Park District's (IAPD) statewide "Flying 4 Kids". The event will feature a Kite Contest and much more! Participants are encouraged to bring their own kites for this fun, leisurely kite fly.
